The owners truly care about what they do and want you to love your new instrument and be successful. They are definitely not just in it for the money. I don\u2019t think they would have let us leave without feeling absolutely satisfied that we knew what we were doing when it comes to my son\u2019s new oboe. Knowing that the oboe is finicky and not a super common choice, they spent extra time (basically a mini-lesson) teaching us both how to assemble the oboe, care for the reeds, clean the oboe, and they helped my son play his first notes. Getting a new instrument is such a special time, and they treated that moment the way it should be, enhanced it, even. Thank you so much for sharing your passion with us! We assumed it was a loss. He was able to reshape the bell, fix the valves that were stuck, and fix some things we didn't even know were damaged (we bought it used). He also gave it an acid bath and gave us care instructions with video links for our kids to watch. It now plays better than it ever had for us. He really knows his stuff! Then I had them tune up my acoustic guitar with smoothing over the frets, crowning them, and straightening the neck.
